Cambridge United 3 Leyton Orient 0 - O's look sunk after another defeat

By Times reporter in Football

Rock--bottom Leyton Orient’s plight looks increasingly bleak after suffering a sixth consecutive defeat last Saturday.

The O’s - whose players and staff are reportedly still awaiting their March wages - were sunk by three goals either side of the break from Luke Berry, Liam O’Neil and George Maris, to leave them an eye-watering ten points from safety, with only five games remaining.

Orient face a daunting Good Friday trip to play-off hopefuls Luton Town (kick-off 3pm), before entertaining Hartlepool United on Bank Holiday Monday (also 3pm).
